His mother, Beauty of Transy was born at the world famous Transy stud in Scotland. She won everything there was to win in the Netherlands. His father, Willem van de Schaapshoeve was a champion in 1996, and his son Carel van de Schaapshoeve was in the same year Overall Champion (half brother to Kees) Willem is a black roan.
