Parabol's life accomplishments demonstrate his versatility. His early years in Germany were decorated with every honor possible for a young stallion. He won his Stallion Preformance Testing with an unprecedented high score of 140 points and then was titled Champion of Oldenburg as a four-year-old. He was a Champion Style Jumper in the prestigious competition for young riders, Prize of the Best, jumping 5'6'' courses while being judged on his quiet manner and technique over fences.

Upon his importion to the US, Parabol turned to a dressage career and earned the USDF Horse of the Year Title at Third Level. He was short-listed for the 1995 Pan-American Dressage Team, long-listed by the USET for many years, and competed successfully up through Grand Prix until his retirement from competition in 1999.
