In 2006 Rodioso began his career at the FEI level showing at Prix St. Georges. He had scores to 71%. He was placed 5th nationally by the USEF in their Silver Stirrup Awards program for the Prix St. Georges level. In 2007 Rodioso debuted at Intermediate I with scores in the lower 60’s. The ISR/Oldenburg NA awarded Rodioso a lifetime breeding license in July of 2006. The German Oldenburg Verband, ISR/Oldenburg North America and the Rhineland Pfalz-Saar currently approve him for breeding. Rodioso along with his regular rider Pamela Pentz train in the winter with Jan Ebeling. He is currently schooling at Grand Prix.

Known for his wonderful temperament and extraordinary looks and movement he has proven to be a very fine sire in passing all his fine qualities on to his foals. Several talented offspring are currently having great success in the dressage ring. He crosses very well with thoroughbred and Arabian mares. His semen is of the highest quality and ships very well. He is also available via frozen semen that is of excellent quality.

Rodioso was foaled in 1996 and completed his 100 days test for the German Oldenburg Verband and was given a Class I license in 1999. Some of his top scores were a “10” on character and a “9” on conformation and an “8” on ridability.

Rodioso’s sire Rohdiamant was German State champion at age four and was rated among the top 5 dressage horses in the world when he was competing at Grand Prix with Olympic Medallist Lisa Wilcox. Rohdiamant traces his dam’s line back to the great Inschallah. Rodioso’s grand sire is the legendary Rubinstein I. His dam is by Furioso II, one of the most influential warmblood sires ever.
